A special event at this year's London Film Festival, Listmania! A Celebration of Movie Top Tens, will mark the publication of Ten Bad Dates with De Niro, and offer festivalgoers and online movie-lovers the chance to lay down the law on whatever are their own top-ten moviegoing passions.
This LFF event is free of charge, and anyone and everyone is warmly invited to attend.
Ten lucky list-makers will have been selected from a pool of submissions to publicly present their choices at the event, with prizes on offer from a panel comprising novelist Matt Thorne, New Statesman critic and author Ryan Gilbey, and the author and critic Anne Billson.
The author of the winning list will receive a superb package of must-have volumes from the Faber and Faber film book library, and all selected participants will receive a copy of Ten Bad Dates With De Niro.
